We had a busy and successful weekend of fundraisers for our trip and project. On Friday, Jack, Devin, Nathan, Neely, and Kyle manned the information table before the football game. Jack told a lot of people about our project. At half-time Trent gave a speech while veterans and students stood on the track in front of the home crowd at the football game. We made over $900 dollars thanks to the generosity of the Aurora Fans. On Saturday, we had a Jelly, Chili, and Baked Goods sale in front of the Aurora Mall. Neely, Trent, and Jarrett told people about the project while selling them homemade goodies. We sold over $500 worth during the sale. A big thank you goes to Barb and Larry Crouse and Lova Klawonn for putting the Bake Sale together. The next fundraiser will be at the October 20, home volleyball game vs. Holdrege.
